▋Health insurance

A fourth-year student who has extended their studies.

  • Graduating two months later (including those who are taking summer courses) does not require a refund process.
  • Overseas students who extend their studies for half a year (also known as new academic year extension students) are required to pay the health insurance fee (NT2244) according to the tuition and miscellaneous fees.
  • Foreign students who extend their studies for half a year (also new academic year extension students) are required to pay the health insurance fee (NT4494) according to the tuition and miscellaneous fees.

Graduates who stay in Taiwan

  • f foreign students have a residence permit that is still valid and do not leave immediately (for those leaving in September to October), please bring your graduation certificate to the local office (town, city, district) to continue your insurance coverage. The premium is NT749.
  • Whether it is for overseas students or foreign students, the insurance premium is NT$749 per month.

▋Overseas (Overseas Students)

resent the following documents to the customs personnel upon departure:

  1. Original and photocopy of the graduation certificate
  2. Identification card or foreign resident certificate and passport (to be returned after verification)
  3. Photocopy of the identification card (only required if holding an identification card)
  4. Photo

▋Residence permit extension.

Holding a residence permit for Taiwan (Hong Kong and Macau regions)

The required documents for the application must be submitted before the graduation notification from the overseas office in August:

1.Graduation certificate
2.Residence permit
3.Application form
4.NT$300
5.Overseas Chinese identity card
6.Passport
7.Photo (color, with white background, without hat)

Holding a foreign resident permit (in regions such as Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.)

The required documents for the application must be submitted before the graduation notification from the overseas office in August:

1.One application form
2.One original passport and residence visa
3.Graduation certificate
4.Fees: 500 yuan for overseas Chinese students, 1000 yuan for foreign students
